Russian PM says CIS countries agree to remove trade barriers
GORKI, Moscow Region, Jun 1 (PRIME) -- The governments of the CIS counties have agreed to remove barriers for access to each other’s markets, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said Monday.
Price volatility at commodities markets was the main reason why the volumes of trade between some of the CIS states decreased considerably, Medvedev said.
“We are concerned about this, we have agreed to deepen trade cooperation and also to continue works to remove barriers which hinder mutual access to each other’s markets,” the prime minister said. The negotiations were informal, he said.
